Online Applications for 'Sada Bainama' Registrations Accepted Starting Today
Telangana: The online application process for registering agricultural lands based on 'Sada Bainamas' (simple sale deeds) has commenced today. Farmers are required to submit a self-affidavit along with their application. Previously, while 900,000 applications were received, only 60,000 were resolved due to various complications. Acting on orders from the High Court, the government has initiated measures to expedite the resolution of these pending applications. Registration is free of cost for dry lands up to 5 acres and wet lands up to 2.5 acres; for landholdings exceeding these limits, the prevailing market value must be paid.
