Our Women Advance to Quarter-Finals
Mokpo (China): Defending champions India stormed into the quarter-finals of the Women's Junior Asia Cup. In the match held on Tuesday, India thrashed Japan 7-0. Krishna Sharma scored in the fifth minute, followed by Supriya four minutes later and Purnima Yadav in the 14th minute. In the third quarter, Geeta Yadav scored two goals within a span of five minutes, and Purnima added another, putting India in an unassailable 6-0 position. Sanika scored the team's seventh goal in the 50th minute.
