Cotton procurement via slot booking
Amaravati: The state government has decided to implement a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for cotton procurement at the Minimum Support Price (MSP) through the CCI. Orders detailing the action plan were issued on Tuesday. Under this plan, cotton procurement in the state will henceforth take place only at market yards identified by the CCI and recommended by the Marketing Department, as well as at ginning mills notified by Joint Collectors.
