Petrol Price Cuts Only After 2-3 Months
New Delhi: Union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri clarified that despite the drop in crude oil prices in the international market, there is no immediate possibility of reducing domestic petrol and diesel prices. He stated that a review regarding a price reduction would only be possible if crude oil prices remain at current levels for at least another two to three months. Speaking to the media on Thursday, he explained that Indian refineries are currently processing oil that was purchased at higher prices two months ago.
