Relief after consecutive losses
Mumbai: Nifty finally found relief after suffering losses for seven consecutive days. During Thursday's trading, the index climbed 153.55 points to reach 24,231.85. Sensex also snapped a four-day losing streak, closing at 77,537.72 with a gain of 628.04 points. A rally in domestic equity indices, mirroring global markets, was driven by a decline in international bond yields.
