Heavy to very heavy rains expected in the next 24 hours
Andhra Pradesh: The Visakhapatnam Meteorological Centre has said that a low pressure area is continuing in the southwest Bay of Bengal and is likely to move west-northwestwards in the next 12 hours and turn into a depression. Due to this, heavy to very heavy rains are likely to be recorded in Prakasam, Nellore, Tirupati, Kadapa and Annamaya districts in the next 24 hours. In view of the heavy rain forecast, the Collector has declared a holiday for schools in Nellore district tomorrow as well.
