RSS Behind Changes to Census Rules
New Delhi: Senior Congress leader and MP Jairam Ramesh has alleged a major conspiracy behind the Modi government’s decision to expand the eligibility criteria for census enumerators. He mocked the central government’s latest notification, stating that it is designed entirely to benefit RSS and BJP workers—likening it to an "employment guarantee scheme" created specifically for them. He further alleged that the Centre has altered the rules solely to infiltrate the census process with RSS cadre.
