Runner-up Rithvik
Telugu Grandmaster Rajavaram Raja Rithvik finished as the runner-up at the Menuires International Chess Championship held in France. Rithvik scored seven points across nine rounds; he narrowly missed out on the title and had to settle for second place. At the conclusion of nine rounds, Indian GMs Rohit Krishna and Rithvik were tied with seven points each; Krishna was declared the winner based on the tie-break score. Local GM Omelya Artem (6.5 points) secured the bronze medal.
