Seniority List for Aided Teachers Must Be Prepared
**Amaravati:** The AP Teachers' Guild has demanded that a seniority list be prepared for aided teachers and that, through a counseling process, they be transferred to schools where currently only a single teacher is employed. Guild representatives—B. Chittibabu, L.K. Chinnappa, and Prabhakar Reddy—issued a statement to this effect on Sunday. They noted that there is only one teacher each in as many as 205 aided schools. They also requested that compassionate appointments be provided to the family members of deceased teachers and that promotions be granted to language teachers.
