Setback for Sindhu and Lakshya Sen
Indian ace shuttlers PV Sindhu and Lakshya Sen suffered early exits in the first round of the Denmark Open, while Tanvi Sharma and Kidambi Srikanth advanced. In the Round of 32 matches held on Tuesday, Sindhu lost to Yvonne Li (Germany) with a score of 21-13, 23-25, 19-21. In the men's singles category, veteran Srikanth fought hard to defeat Merkle (France) 22-20, 21-19, whereas Lakshya Sen was defeated by the third seed, Chou Tien-chen (Chinese Taipei), 18-21, 21-13, 15-21.
