Seven-Year Ban on Bhanveer Singh
New Delhi: The National Anti-Doping Appeal Panel (ADAP) has imposed a seven-year ban on discus thrower Bhanveer Singh (37) after he failed a doping test. Apart from securing second place at the Indian Grand Prix held in Bhubaneswar in 2022, Bhanveer had never delivered a noteworthy performance in his career. Additionally, a four-year ban—his second consecutive suspension—was imposed on long-distance runner Harendra Kumar.
