Shock for Shreyas Iyer: ₹36 Lakh Fine!
IPL: Punjab Kings captain Shreyas Iyer continues to be plagued by the issue of a slow over-rate. While he was fined ₹12 lakh for this infraction during the match against Gujarat, the same mistake was repeated during yesterday's match against Chennai. According to BCCI rules, a second offense of this nature incurs a penalty of ₹24 lakh. Consequently, the total fines levied against Iyer so far have reached ₹36 lakh. If the offense is repeated once more, he will face a fine of ₹30 lakh.
