Skyrocketing Prices of Rice and Essential Commodities
Hyderabad: BRS Legislature Party Deputy Leader Tanniru Harish Rao alleged that while the prices of fine rice and essential commodities in the state are skyrocketing, the Revanth Reddy government—having failed to control prices—remains indifferent. On Monday, he stated on 'X' (formerly Twitter) that it is appalling for the government to remain in a deep slumber while these soaring prices break the backs of the common people. He questioned why the general public is being forced to pay the price for the government's negligence and failure in oversight.
