Southwest monsoon to hit Kerala in three days
Amravati: Due to the influence of El Nino, the monsoon winds blowing towards the Indian Ocean, which have crossed the equator, are gradually strengthening. In addition, separate surface circulations have formed in the southeast Arabian Sea, Kerala and Tamil Nadu adjacent to Kerala. Due to these, rains have been falling in Kerala for the last two days. With this, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that the southwest monsoon will hit many parts of Kerala and Tamil Nadu in the next two to three days.
