Crowds of Devotees at Yadagiri Shrine
The divine shrine of Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy at Yadagirigutta was teeming with devotees on Sunday. Due to the combination of summer holidays and the weekend, devotees arrived in large numbers. More than 101,000 devotees had *Darshan* (sacred viewing) of the presiding deity. The waiting time for *Special Darshan* was one hour, while *Dharma Darshan* (general queue) took two hours. The main temple, the staircase leading to the Shiva temple, the *Prasadam* (sacred food) distribution counter, and the western and northern processional streets of the temple were all filled to capacity with devotees.
