Zverev, Gauff in Semis
New York: Top seed Alexander Zverev, unseeded Karen Khachanov, and fourth seed Coco Gauff have advanced to the US Open semi-finals. In the quarter-final held on Thursday, Zverev (Germany) defeated van de Zandschulp (Netherlands) 6-2, 7-5, 6-1. In another quarter-final, Khachanov (Russia) advanced after his opponent, Alexander (Belgium), retired due to injury while trailing 6-2, 7-5, 3-2. Khachanov will face Zverev in the semi-finals on Saturday.
