25 States File Lawsuit Against Trump's New Tariffs!
The new tariffs recently imposed by US President Trump have run into legal hurdles. A coalition of 25 US states has filed a petition with the US Court of International Trade, challenging the tariffs that were imposed with the stated aim of curbing imports of goods linked to forced labor. They pointed out that 99.4% of US imports originate from these 60 countries and asserted that the President does not have the authority to arbitrarily impose tariffs on any nation.
