Are you giving cough syrup to children? Be careful.
Two children died after consuming cough syrup in Rajasthan. 10 others fell ill. A doctor fainted after consuming the syrup to prove it was safe. The government has banned this syrup, supplied by Kayson Pharma. Officials said that 1.33 lakh bottles have been given to patients since July. Similarly, six children died in MP and the Centre has banned Coldrif and Nextro-DS syrups.
