Balwinder Singh Jammu Elected as IJU President
Vijayawada: On the concluding day of the Indian Journalists Union (IJU) 11th National Plenary on Sunday, a new executive committee was unanimously elected. Balwinder Singh Jammu (Punjab) and D. Somasundar (Andhra Pradesh) had already been unanimously elected as IJU President and Secretary General, respectively, prior to this event. Both of them formally assumed their responsibilities on the plenary stage on Sunday. Elections were held for the remaining office-bearer positions and executive committee seats.
