Host Australia avenged its defeat in the first Test against Bangladesh. The 'Kangaroos' secured a resounding victory by an innings and 51 runs in the second Test, which concluded in just two days. With this win, the series ended in a 1-1 draw. After collapsing for just 64 runs in the first innings, Bangladesh managed to score only 95 runs in their second innings on Sunday. Only Captain Shanto (31) and Mushfiqur (29) reached double-digit scores. Pacer Mitchell Starc (4/39) once again wreaked havoc, orchestrating Bangladesh's collapse.
