Sarayu Wins Pan American Chess Title
Dallas (USA): Sarayu Talapaneni, an 8-year-old Telugu girl, has made a mark on the international chess stage. Sarayu emerged as the winner in the Under-8 Girls' Classical category at the Pan American Youth Chess Championship held in Medellín, Colombia. Players from North, Central, and South American countries participated in this tournament. Sarayu's parents, Srilakshmi and Sandeep—who hail from Gannavaram in Krishna district—reside in Dallas, USA.
