Blanket and pillow in non-AC coaches
Southern Railway has good news for train passengers. It has announced that blanket and pillow facilities will be available in non-AC sleepers from January 1, 2026. It has been stated that passengers will have to pay fixed charges for this. To this end, it has brought three packages of Rs. 50, Rs. 30 and Rs. 20. This facility is being started on a trial basis in 10 selected trains of the Chennai division.
