Comprehensive Inquiry Needed into Hussain Sagar Lands
New Delhi: The Supreme Court has observed that a comprehensive inquiry is necessary regarding the dispute over highly valuable lands situated in the vicinity of Hussain Sagar, right in the heart of Hyderabad city. This opinion was expressed against the backdrop of private individuals—as well as the HADA—presenting evidence to assert their ownership claims over the lands in question. B. Vijaya Reddy, along with several others, has been laying claim to approximately 19 acres and 23 guntas of land situated in the vicinity of Hussain Sagar.
