Farmer Dies of Sunstroke While Drying Grain
A farmer succumbed to sunstroke while engaged in drying grain. This incident occurred on Friday in Shivunipalli, located within the limits of Station Ghanpur Municipality in Jangaon district. The farmer, Gandla Ravi (47), had transported the grain he harvested to the IKP procurement center situated in the same village. From 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday, he worked alongside his wife, Jyothi, under the scorching sun, engaged in grain processing (using a paddy dryer). After toiling in the heat, Ravi returned home; while resting after taking a bath, he suddenly collapsed.
