Debt burden is highest on AP farmers: Union Minister
Union Minister Shivraj Singh said in the Lok Sabha that the debt burden is highest on AP farmers. He said that between July 2018-June 2019, each farmer family in Andhra Pradesh had an average debt of Rs. 2,35,554. He said that the average debt of Telangana farmers was Rs. 1,52,113. He said that the average debt of farmers across the country was Rs. 74,121. While AP is at the first place in the list of states with the highest debt burden, Telangana is at the 5th place.
