Gary Stead appointed as Andhra Cricket head coach
The Andhra Cricket Association has appointed former New Zealand head coach Gary Stead as the head coach of the Andhra men's cricket team. It is reported that he will take charge between the 20th and 25th of this month. Under Gary's leadership, the Kiwis reached the 2019 World Cup final. They also won the 2021 World Cup title. On the other hand, Andhra finished sixth in Group-B in the last Ranji season. They finished fourth in Group-B in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and reached the pre-quarterfinals in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
