Sri Lanka crush Bangladesh
Sri Lanka won a resounding victory over Bangladesh in the match held as part of the Asia Cup 2025. Batting first, Bangladesh scored only 139/5 runs. Zakir Ali (41*) and Shamim Hossain (42*) were the only ones who excelled. The Sri Lankan batters ended the match with 32 balls remaining. Nissanka scored a half-century, Kamil Mishara (46*), and captain Asalanka (10*) excelled. Bangladesh bowlers Mahedi Hasan took 2 wickets, Mustafizur, and Tanzim took one wicket each.
