Hike in EPF Wage Limit
New Delhi: The Union Cabinet, led by Prime Minister Modi, approved a proposal by the Ministry of Labour and Employment on Wednesday to raise the wage limit for mandatory Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) coverage from the current Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 25,000. This decision is set to benefit over 51 lakh additional employees across the country, granting them statutory PF protection.
