New Delhi: India has rejected the joint border commission established by Pakistan and China. It asserted that Pakistan has no legal basis to set up such commissions regarding Indian territories under occupation. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) issued this response following the first meeting of the Pakistan-China joint border commission held in Islamabad. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal reiterated that Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh have always been, and remain, integral parts of India.
