Irrigation Water Released into East Delta Canal
Dhaleswaram: On Sunday, irrigation water was released into the Delta canals, which had been closed following the Rabi season. Public representatives from the united Godavari districts participated in the event. Minister Kandula Durgesh, MPs Sana Satish, Ganti Harish Madhur, and Tangella Uday Srinivas, MLC Perabathula Rajasekhar, MLA Nallamilli Ramakrishna Reddy, and Project Committee Chairman Muralasetty Sunil Kumar performed rituals at the East Delta Head Sluice; after offering flowers and fruits to Mother Godavari, they lifted the gates and released the water.
