Amaravati: Minister Atchannaidu lashed out, stating that it is bizarre for the YCP rulers—who held power for five years and completely plunged the farming community into a quagmire of debt—to now speak with sympathy towards farmers. "The agricultural sector suffered severe damage under YCP rule. Farmers faced hardships as they did not receive seeds and fertilizers in a timely manner. They incurred losses due to the lack of remunerative prices for their crops. Furthermore, under the guise of 'Rythu Bharosa,' they deceived farmers by failing to provide the financial assistance they had promised," the Minister stated in a press release on Sunday.
