Jaiswal and Fernando: A Heated Confrontation
Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal found himself at the center of a major controversy after losing his cool during the first day's play. Pacer Asitha Fernando bowled him out in the 17th over while he was batting aggressively. Asitha taunted Jaiswal as the latter was walking away from the crease in disappointment. An enraged Jaiswal immediately turned back and confronted Asitha directly; he shocked everyone by pressing the front of his helmet against Asitha's forehead and pushing him.
