Main event in Nagpur with 21,000 volunteers
The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is celebrating its foundation day today. The Sangh was founded on Vijayadashami in 1925, and has been celebrating Vijayadashami ever since. This year marks the Sangh's centenary year, and the Sangh will celebrate its centenary from Vijayadashami 2025 to Vijayadashami 2026. The main event is being held at the Reshimbag grounds in Nagpur. Due to the centenary year, preparations have been extensive, with approximately 21,000 volunteers attending the main event.
Guests from countries like Ghana, South Africa, Thailand, Indonesia, and the UK are also attending the event. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and Maharashtra Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule are present, dressed in Sangh attire.
