Video of BJP leader's bullying goes viral in Kanpur
A video of a BJP leader's high-handedness has surfaced from Kanpur district, Uttar Pradesh. Amitesh Shukla, the district minister of the BJP's youth rural division, was appointed as the special guest at a Ramlila performance in Bhaunti village, under the Sachendi police station area. Shukla arrived at the Ramlila venue in an intoxicated state.
Pointed a pistol at a committee member
During the Ramlila performance, the BJP leader began distributing money, which the organizers protested. This protest angered Amitesh, who threatened a member of the Ramlila committee by brandishing a pistol tucked in his waistband. During the attack, the BJP leader declared that if he shot, no one would be able to escape.
Late Night Police Raid
Video and audio of the incident are going viral on social media. Upon learning of the video, the police investigated the video. Subsequently, the police raided the BJP leader's home late at night and recovered the pistol.
BJP Leader Arrested
Police have arrested BJP leader Amitesh Shukla. The police team is questioning the BJP leader. The threat of death, brandishing a pistol, created an atmosphere of fear at the Ramlila Ground.
