Mandatory Drug Tests for All Pilots: DGCA
New Delhi: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has decided to mandate drug tests for all pilots working across airlines. It has directed that this process be completed by July 2027. Consequently, drug tests will be conducted on over 12,000 commercial pilots nationwide. Union Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu stated that the new regulations regarding these tests are likely to be finalized by the end of this month.
