Meeting of PhD Graduates with the President
Approximately 200 tribal graduates who have completed their PhDs met with President Droupadi Murmu in Delhi. Among them was Vithal Rathod, a teacher at the MJPTBC Gurukulam in Kodangal, Vikarabad district. Vithal Rathod—son of Nagibai and Ramu Naik, residents of the Bashirabad mandal headquarters—received his PhD degree from the University of Hyderabad in 2014. The Ministry of Tribal Affairs organized this meeting at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi for beneficiaries of tribal scholarship schemes.
