New Textbooks Are Ready!
The new textbooks are currently being dispatched from warehouses in Ramanthapur, Hyderabad, to the Mandal Resource Centers (MRCs). By Saturday night, the transportation of 65 percent of the textbooks had been completed. In the past, textbook distribution would often not take place until two or three months after schools had already commenced. Moving away from that situation, officials are now making arrangements to distribute the books to students on June 12—the very day schools are set to reopen. Within the 16 mandals of Hyderabad district, there are 713 government primary and upper primary schools.
