Prominent Malayalam director arrested
Prominent Malayalam director Ranjith Balakrishnan has been arrested on charges of sexual harassment. The Kochi police took Ranjith into custody after a young actress complained that he behaved indecently on the sets. Meanwhile, Ranjith has faced similar allegations in the past. A Bengali actress and another actor have also complained that Ranjith has been sexually harassed. The Bengali actress' cases were dismissed by the Kerala High Court last year.
