Russia Develops Vaccine for Ebola Virus Strain!
Russia has announced that it has developed a new vaccine to combat 'Bundibugyo'—a new strain of the Ebola virus. This was disclosed by Russia's Minister of Health, Mikhail Murashko. The Russian Embassy in South Africa stated this information on its 'X' (formerly Twitter) account. Russia announced that this vaccine is capable of providing protection against the Bundibugyo strain currently spreading in the Congo. The World Health Organization (WHO) noted that 220 people have died in the Congo so far due to the Bundibugyo strain.
