Due to the current lifestyle and working hours, many people do not prioritize sleep. Some sleep only 4-5 hours a day. However, a UK Biobank study has shown that sleep deprivation is associated with accelerated brain aging. A study conducted on 27,500 people found that sleep deprivation can age the brain a year earlier than its actual age. Doctors suggest that this risk is not present if you sleep 7-8 hours a day.
