Southwest Monsoon to Reach Kerala Tomorrow
New Delhi: The Southwest Monsoon is set to arrive in Kerala on Thursday. On the same day, it is expected to extend to various parts of Tamil Nadu and Lakshadweep, as well as to additional regions across the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) announced this on Tuesday. It stated that conditions are favorable for the onset of the monsoon, citing the rainfall witnessed in Kerala and Lakshadweep over the past two to three days, as well as the formation of a surface circulation system in the Arabian Sea adjacent to Kerala.
