Uranium residues found in the vicinity of Turakapalem!
Andhra Pradesh: It seems that there are uranium residues in the vicinity of Turakapalem in Guntur Rural (M). It is reported that this was detected in water tests conducted in a Chennai lab. Along with these, it is reported that the element strontium and E. coli bacteria are also present. Officials are initially assessing that the locals fell ill due to drinking this water. It is known that many people died of illness in Turakapalem recently.
