Consuming yogurt that has been stored in a copper vessel can lead to nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Similarly, storing pickles or foods containing citrus fruits in copper vessels can trigger a chemical reaction that is harmful to one's health. Experts also suggest that drinking water should be stored in these vessels for no longer than 8 to 12 hours before consumption.
