Kaleshwaram Comes Alive
Bhupalpally: The holy confluence site (Triveni Sangamam) transformed into a sea of devotees. On the 11th day of the Pushkarams festival, devotees arrived in massive numbers. Coming in droves from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh—as well as from Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh—they performed the sacred Pushkara bath and attained spiritual purification. Spiritual leader and Pontiff of the Kolcharam Peetham, Sri Madhavananda Saraswati, attended the event, performed the Pushkara bath, and conducted special rituals for the River Saraswati. On this occasion, Vedic scholars performed the *Maharudra Homam* (sacred fire ritual) within the temple premises.
