Hero MotoCorp to Invest ₹1,500 Crore
New Delhi: Hero MotoCorp has announced that it will invest ₹1,500 crore during the current financial year to strengthen its foothold in the domestic two-wheeler market. The company revealed that, with these proposed investments, it aims to double its scooter production capacity. Hero MotoCorp CEO Harshvardhan Chitale stated that the company currently produces 60,000 scooters per month and has set a target to increase this figure to 100,000 units.
