Municipalities: Election of mayors, chairpersons today
Telangana: Election of chairpersons, vice chairpersons of 116 municipalities, mayors and deputy mayors of 7 corporations in the state will be held today. Except for Karimnagar, all the other corporations are likely to go to the Congress. On the other hand, the party has already won more than 60 municipalities. What will happen in this sequence where there is a hung assembly has become interesting. Independents have become crucial here.
