National Coal Exchange Soon: Kishan Reddy
Union Minister for Coal and Mines, G. Kishan Reddy, announced that a National Coal Exchange is set to be established to enable thermal power plants to procure quality coal at lower prices from locations of their choice. He suggested that for public sector undertakings to remain competitive in the market, they must reduce their production costs and sell coal at lower rates.
