Property Tax Collection Hits ₹119 Crores in May
Amaravati: The rebate scheme announced by the Panchayat Raj Department regarding property taxes for Gram Panchayats is yielding positive results. The department had announced that a 5 percent rebate would be granted to those who pay their property taxes for the 2026-27 financial year by the end of May. As a result of this, property tax collections reached ₹119.78 crore by May 31. This marks the first time in the history of the Panchayat Raj Department that property tax collections have exceeded ₹100 crore in the month of May.
