Will ‘Peddi’ Give Janhvi a Boost?
Although Janhvi Kapoor has done a dozen films in Bollywood, she has completed only two films in Telugu so far. Launched as a lead actress in 2018, it took this beauty six years—until 2024—to make her acting debut in Telugu. Janhvi made her entry into Tollywood with the film ‘Devara.’ In that movie, her role was limited to just two songs and a few scenes. Since then, apart from ‘Peddi,’ she has not taken up any other project in Telugu. Against this backdrop, it remains to be seen whether ‘Peddi’ will provide a significant boost to Sridevi’s daughter’s career in Tollywood.
